Pattachitra is a Traditional painting of Odisha,India. These Painting are based on Hindu Mythology.

Pattachitra is thus a painting done on canvas, and is manifested by rich colourful application and possess a charm peculiarly their own.Their pictorial conceptions,unique painting technique and line formations together with colour schemes make them a remarkably original art form that is distinct from any other school of painting either in India or abroad.

Palm leaf paintings also belong to this category of Orissa art where in traditional patta paintings are done on palm leaves.
